On the futility of trying

“Do or do not, there is no try”, said Yoda to Luke in Star Wars. (in which Star Wars movie? Go ask Google).

Oxford dictionary defines “Try” as “make an attempt or effort effort to do something”. There is nothing about about accomplishing/being in trying.

The Prince doesn’t try to be a king – one day, he simply is a King. Either you are or you are not.

The energetic frequency of trying is rooted in lack – that something more needs to be done, effort and energy to be expended to get a particular outcome maybe. That the desired outcome is not here yet – Lack.

Trying will strengthen the neural pathways of lack and then your mind will “try” once again to get out of those thinking patterns that were formed a result of trying. It’s an endless futile loop. You follow?

Trying will have you spinning around in circles – from lack to lack one goes, chasing an illusory carrot!

Trying to understand creates confusion – either you get it or you don’t!

When you are trying so hard to change something, you turn the molehill into a mountain.

Trying to lose weight will have you finding more weight to lose.

Trying to be rich will have one sign up for every idiotic quick scheme found on insta only to find that it was a scam…

Trying to change/have a breakthrough/understand/awaken will have you make false gurus out of others and give your power away. They are not the saviour you have been looking for you. It is you. Jesus didn’t heal, it’s one’s faith in him that healed. I digress, more of this some other time.

Trying makes one desperate – its such a yucky energy that only invites more trying, the more you try, more desperation you feel… are you starting to get it? Or still trying to get it?

What’s an alternative to trying? Being it. Be the very thing you are trying to be. Assume authority. Hold the vision and be it. (yes, you will likely need to take some actions – those will be the things you will do, not try)

Embody the truth of your being as the ultimate way of being – there is no trying in being.

Does God/Source ever try to be God/Source? God is. You are. I am.

When you are trying to heal – you are unwell. You are not whole. However, when you are whole, you are healed as a by-product of it.

We start with the end in mind and the end wills the means.

Be done with all the trying. Be still and Know that I am/You are ____ (fill in the blank).

P.S.: Please know that there is no judgment here, I tried for 17/18 years to arrive this understanding. Whether you get it or not, you will get there eventually, so you might as well not try so hard and enjoy your time on this planet – or you can keep trying – you have eternity!
